Event Details
BIG EAST Sports & Entertainment Networking Event provides students the opportunity to meet with employers from the sports and entertainment industry. Employers that have participated in the past include: Viacom, Fleishman Hilliard, Thuzio, AthLife, New York Racing Association, FOX Sports, MSP Sports, ROI Sports Group LLC & Collegiate Sports Marketing Group, Symmetry, KPMG, MSG, ESPN, HuddleUp Consulting, New York Road Runners, CNN Money, Disney & ESPN Media Networks, and Rightster.
Employers will be available to discuss their organization, full time opportunities, and internship positions.

Who is eligible to attend?
Current students ONLY from the BIG EAST schools:
Butler, Creighton, DePaul, Georgetown, Marquette, Providence, Seton Hall, St. John’s, Villanova, Xavier
There is no fee for students to attend the event. Each school is guaranteed 10 spots.
What is the BIG EAST Sports & Entertainment Networking Event?
There’s more than just great basketball being played at Madison Square Garden during the BIG EAST men’s basketball tournament in March. This year, in partnership with the BIG EAST Athletic Conference, the BIG EAST Career Consortium is hosting another exciting event. Combining the best aspects of a career fair with the benefits of a more intimate networking event, the BIG EAST Sports & Entertainment Networking Event connects students and career services professionals with employers from the sports and entertainment industry.
How do I sign up to attend?
In order to attend the event, you must complete the online application by the deadline set by your university. Applying does not guarantee an invitation to the event. University officials will notify you of your status no later than February 21st.
What should I know about the Networking Event?
The official Networking Event will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, March 12, 2020. Check-in will be at 6:15 p.m. EST.
We recommend that you take copies of your resume and pen/paper to the event.
Business Dress is recommended for students.
How should I enter Madison Square Garden?
Please enter through the main box office on 7th Avenue between 31st and 33rd Streets.
Only students from the BIG EAST Conference schools are eligible to attend. In order to gain admittance, you must bring either a school ID or a state issued license.
