The BIG EAST Career Consortium, in partnership with the BIG EAST Conference, is hosting a Sports & Entertainment Networking Event that will take place in Madison Square Garden in New York City on Thursday, March 13, 2025, during the BIG EAST Men's Basketball Tournament.

 

This invitation-only event will bring BIG EAST students from all 11 schools together, along with industry professionals, for an evening of networking and basketball. If you want to connect with alumni and professionals in the sports and entertainment industries, please apply!

All participants will receive a ticket to attend the BIG EAST Men's Basketball Tournament quarterfinal games immediately following the networking event.

Applications are currently being accepted through Friday, February 7, 2025. Applying does not guarantee an invitation to the event. Your University Career Services will notify you of your status no later than Friday, February 14, 2025.

This dynamic event will spotlight the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup and the professionals shaping its presence in the U.S.

 

The summit kicks off with a high-impact panel featuring industry leaders in advertising, media, operations, and product representation—all sharing insights on how the world's biggest sporting event is being brought to life on American soil. Whether you're passionate about sports, marketing, or global business, this is your chance to connect, learn, and be inspired by the people behind the pitch.

 

Following the panel, attendees will have the chance to participate in speed networking sessions featuring a wide range of sports marketing professionals.
